The front driveway is awesome (considering the awkward, sloping shape of it) and the patio is brilliant with all slabs perfectly level and, more importantly, no "wobbly" ones.

Huxton Building Services were recommended to us by a friend and we have never regretted going with that recommendation.
We wanted to knock down an existing conservatory and knock through the back wall of the house to create a large kitchen diner. From the beginning, the service that Phill and Terry gave us was outstanding; coming to look at the proposed work and offering advice about using the existing foundations and coming up with detailed plans of the proposed buildings works and costing it up, all without any obligation.
They were also diligent about researching anything that they, or we, were unsure about, rather than winging it; a structural surveyor was used to ensure that the RSJ was the right strength.
The entire project took only 3 weeks, which included everything from taking down the old conservatory, building the new walls, taking out the old back wall and putting in an RSJ, putting the roof on, fitting two windows and a door, levelling the two floors and wiring, plumbing and plastering the shell, as well as moving the gas pipe.
They always turned up for work at around 8ish, and our project was never sidelined because something else had come in. They coped admirably with everything the extension threw out them; a hidden manhole right next to the foundations, none of the walls being at right angles, a sloping floor etc. They were efficient project managers; coordinating their subcontractors, whose work was of an equally high standard, to make sure that everything was done within the tight time scales and at no time were we left without power, water or a means of cooking.
They always ensured that the site was secure each night and even went out of their way to make sure that the cats were not too disturbed by what was going on!
The extension is now fully complete and our kitchen diner has given us so much pleasure over the last six months. We would have no concerns in using Huxton Building Services for another project of that magnitude, or one even bigger, again.
